ePayLater is a Buy Now Pay Later payment option that allows you to make multiple purchases and pay all at once, later. You get a 14-day interest-free period from the date of your order to pay your ePayLater bill.
You can use ePayLater on any of partner trading portals including IRCTC, PVR, Box8, Travelyaari, Mojo Pizza, Telebrands, Croma, eVoucher India, Ticketnew, Sports Uncle, Oyefood, Foodzap, MadBananas and many others. The list is expected to increase in the coming days. Keep an eye out for updates on this.
You can also use ePayLater to make transactions with merchants who accept UPI. You can currently use ePayLater UPI on Amazon, Flipkart, Jabong and Myntra.
The company provides customers with a grace period for a few more days after the due date for payment. However, the client will be charged for late payment for such period. Users are notified several times by email, SMS and phone calls before and periodically after the deadline. However, in the event of non-payment, the remote ePayLater user account will be deactivated. Just like an electricity bill or any utility bill, any amount payable to ePayLater is legally enforceable.
In addition, ePayLater, acting through its partner financial institutions, may report all such defaults to credit bureaus, including CIBIL, which may affect your credit rating and therefore your ability to access financial products, including any type of credit, in the future.
There may be several reasons why your ePayLater account is blocked:
- You have not paid for one or more ePayLater transactions, and your payment has expired.
- You cleared your payment after a long delay, which results in non-compliance with your payment terms.
- Your account may be blocked due to suspicious activity on your account.
- A deactivation request has been received for your account.
